NanoTimes software solutions are mainly based on prototypes originated from fundamental research results carried out at the CEMES, a French CNRS lab, in Toulouse.
At the heart of Nt-STM, there are the pioneering works of Pr. C. Joachim and Ph. Sautet, who invented the ESQC software prototype, based on the Extended Hückel model and the Hamiltonian Transfer method.
This prototype has then been upgraded and improved by Dr. J. Iribas Cerda who added resolution methods based upon the Green function analysis.
