Nanotimes releases long-awaited new product for Education : Nt_Scholar v1.3 Print E-mail

Nanotimes is happy to announce the release of its long-awaited educational product for SPM teaching : Nt_Scholar.

Nt_Scholar is a great piece of software designed to help students and teachers simulate SPM experiments in class and best explore the nanoworld. It is an extension of Nanotimes' Nt_STM 1.5 that has specifically been designed for your STM classes, whether in physics, chemistry, or materials science.

With its powerful STM simulation engine based on Green and its user-friendly interface, you can use it to obtain real space atomic resolution images of conductive surfaces. For instance, the tunneling spectroscopy mode of STM may be employed to examine local density of state (LDOS) of the surface.

Specific pedagogical information are also offered with the software and will be updated on a regular basis, with your help. Nt_Scholar is accompanied by a manual that serves both as a support for curriculum development and as an in-class guide to each investigation.

As of now, you can already configure what you need, or you can add options later !

At an affordable and modulabe cost, Nt_Scholar is the ideal hassle-free tool for your STM lectures and lab assignments or research projects. This smart and easy-to-use tool is the perfect choice for your SPM teaching or research.

You can download the trial version for free and have a go at Nt_Scholar right here and now (Downloads section)!

The next versions will include a modular line that will allow you to switch your current STM engine to an AFM image simulator.
